Tennis Court Upgrade - $20,000

Bulimba State School were successful in their application to the School Sport and Recreation Facility Upgrade Program 2010/11. In this program, which Brisbane City Council is jointly delivering with Education Queensland, 11 schools were approved for funding. Our school received $20,000 (excluding GST) for upgrade works to the upper tennis court. The project, which was co-funded by Bulimba Primary P&C, Bulimba State School Outside School Hours Care and Bulimba State School, involved repairs to the tennis court base and resurfacing with sports grass. The project was completed by Jordin Sports Surfaces and was completed in early October 2011. If you would like to try the upgraded court surface out, refer to the weekend court hire details below.
