In Queensland, P&C Associations are specifically excluded from incorporating by the Associations Incorporation Act 1981 because P&C Associations are provided for by the Education (General Provisions) Act 2006 and no organisation can be provided for by more than one Act of Parliament. However, we have Deductable Donation Registration (DDR) status.
We nominate Bulimba State School as our sponsor. Schools are incorporated under Education (General Provisions) Act 2006 (which comes under "another act of parliament").
