Mike and Judy fell in love with the Rosé wines of Provence and wanted to make a similar one from their cool-climate single vineyard high in the Adelaide Hills.
This is not a sweet pink drink, but a serious wine made from Pinot Noir, resulting in a wine of intense flavour and a long dry finish. The wine has the wonderful “eye of the partridge colour” of true Rosé. The wine has a wonderfully balanced body and structure. Think cherry and strawberry fruit, with a savoury, crisp dry finish. The perfect wine when you want the palate feel of a red wine but the freshness and crispness of a white wine.
