If you’ve not heard of the Bulimba State School Trivia Night, it’s best to ask around… there are plenty of cautionary stories, rumours, legends and tall tales. Essentially, it’s become the biggest night of the school year. Think Olympic Opening Ceremony – but add ridiculous costumes, structures on tables that should really require planning permission and dancing into the wee small hours. But most of all, it’s a chance for parents to have a great night out to raise some cash for much-needed stuff around the school.

Now in its 20th year, Trivia Night has grown to a 400-seat event that quickly sells out. Last year we celebrated “R” for “Retirement” as our wonderful Principal Michael Zeuschner retired after 28 years at the school and 42 years in the Department of Education. Our 2024 Trivia Night Theme is a "Can't Stop the Music". Come dressed as your favourite Billboard song or band and choose a theme song that represents your table. Costumes are being carefully planned, table decorations constructed and entrances choreographed for the coveted “Best Dressed Team” award.
